Mia Torrecillas, a senior at Bakersfield Highland High in California, won the Division 1-2 girls varsity individual sweepstakes race by covering the 2.93-mile layout in 17:39 at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Torrecillas helped Bakersfield Highland finish 10th as a team with 247 points.
