Mia Torrecillas, a junior at Bakersfield Highland High in California, won the girls 1,600 meters in 4:58.83 at the Gateway to Track and Field Invitational at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Torrecillas also finished fifth in the 3,200 meters in 10:50.72.
