Bakersfield Highland sophomore Mia Torrecillas secured seventh place in the Division 3 girls final at the California state meet at Woodward Park in Fresno. Torrecillas, making her state debut, ran 18:10.2 on the 5-kilometer layout to help earn 18th overall with 442 points.
